In “First World Champion, then CEO: Till (23) dares something”, the NRZ honors our founder's journey from whitewater canoe world champion to managing director. The article shows how consistent goal orientation and sporting discipline were transferred to the technology sector and today the vision of BEEP! emboss.
Till Fengler proved early on how to perform under pressure. After success in canoe whitewater sports, he took the step to found BEEP in 2023 at just 22 years of age! Technologies GmbH, at that time initially as a UG. The move from the national team to the founding office was not a turning point, but the continuation of a commitment to precision, speed and clear decisions.
BEEP! digitizes stationary retail with a Scan and Go app that combines three key advantages. Customers scan products with their smartphones and pay on the go, eliminating waiting times. Retailers integrate the solution into existing cash register systems; no modifications or additional hardware are required. The result is more efficient processes, relieved teams and more active sales space. The search intent surrounding modern self checkout is thus met precisely and increases the chances of using SERP features such as a concise snippet.
Together with partners and initial customers, the team is constantly testing new functions. The aim is to further increase usability in everyday life and to help shape technical standards for Scan and Go in retail. In practice, this means short release cycles, early feedback, and iterative product improvements.
Determination pays off. Clear goals and consistent action lead to success, from training on the riverbank to the product decision in a meeting. Agility remains a success factor. Test quickly, measure results, refine processes. The focus is on people. Technology must be self-explanatory, especially in hectic store operations. These principles flow into the development of BEEP every day! Scan and go on.
