In practice, this means that rolls and croissants are removed with tongs and paid directly in the app, without waiting in line and without a classic cash register.
Set up the display as in a SB bakery. Baked goods are protected behind a glass front and are removed with tongs. There is a clearly legible barcode sign in front of each compartment, which clearly identifies the respective product. The combination of glass front and pliers relieves the team and ensures high hygiene standards right up to the payment process.
When entering, guests open the app and scan the location QR Code so that all product data is loaded. They then scan the item barcode, remove the pastry with the pliers and place it in the bag. The app shows prices, allergy information and, if applicable, deposit amounts. Mobile payments are made using Apple Pay, Google Pay or credit card. The digital receipt automatically appears in the app.
